A TEACHER  is responsible for the development of a whole group of students. Teaching is not only about the dissemination of academic knowledge, since teachers must also absorb what their students think and guide them in the right way.
5 characteristics of the most effective teachers
1 - An open mind
Learning and adaptation are two of the biggest parts of being a good teacher. Each day this experience will bring you new and unexpected obstacles to overcome, so you must be able to adapt and know how to handle a significant amount of adverse elements, especially at the beginning of your career.
"Effective teachers are not born, they are made after a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication," says Lynn Columba, program coordinator at the Faculty of Education at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

2 - Flexibility and patience
Interruptions while giving lectures are very common, so a flexible and patient attitude is important not only for you to have your level of stress stable, but also so that you can control any situation that can be generated by the students in your charge.

3 - Dedication
Being a teacher generates great benefits such as having several months of vacation. However, this profession implies total dedication, so it is necessary that you learn new skills and, for example, attend seminars on different subjects and disciplines during this period of rest.

4 - Positive attitude
A positive attitude will help you to know how to cope and act in front of diverse problems that students can express or have. The young people you teach will also have a teacher, a reference to whom to go in different situations. It is important that you maintain an open attitude with them so that they feel supported.

5 - High expectations
An effective teacher must have high expectations, so every day must motivate their students to strive more and more to achieve better results.
Compliance and stillness are not characteristic of this profession. Being a teacher is an arduous task, without doubts, but only those who aspire to more and have high expectations about their work are those who achieve success and stand ou

Activities she/he likes and dislikes

I like to do

1. DYNAMIC ACTIVITIES: Most teachers, regardless of their area, like to work with students through various activities example such as, round tables to achieve the integration of each student in class.
 2. GAMES: Many teachers encourage their students to participate in their classes through the game, they implement this because there is nothing more serious than a game, there is no other activity that is so structured and has as many rules, contents, procedures, objectives, time limits and incentives as a game. so the students think, discuss a topic, learn, respect the instructions and procedures. Playing not only fosters the union of the cognitive with the emotional, but it needs that unity as a condition of possibility.
3. TEAMWORK: For teachers it is important that students understand that Man is a social being and for this reason the learning depends largely on the neighbor, because through it he achieves communication, the exchange of ideas, and the construction of knowledge. working in a team is not being together in a space, at the same time; is to share ideals, forms of work and interests, is to have a common purpose to which each one contributes.
4. CLASS PARTICIPATION: for teachers it is important that a student expresses his knowledge and doubts and interacts with others in front of a subject in question, since the best learning consists in collective work, besides the participation in class is a factor evaluated by the teachers It is part of a final grade.
5. CLASSES TO THE EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT: Most of the teachers enjoy teaching their classes in different environments, for example, giving their classes in the open air, this to give an environment of well-being change the routine and to enjoy the environment and nature.

I DISLIKE TO DO

1. CHEATING STUDENTS:  Teachers dislike fraud and lies on the part of their students because they feel cheated and feel that their time was wasted and the students did not acquire any teaching.
2. INDISCIPLINE: the indiscipline is one of the biggest challenges that the teachers face every day when they are ready to carry out their work, the students grow taking models of behavior according to their environment and for the teachers this is very important since in addition to the bad academic results It brings other unfavorable consequences such as stress, the loss of the teacher's vocation, depression and others.
3. UNPUNCTUALITY:  unpunctual students, are irresponsible in the activities that teachers have for them, it is a cause of anger and displeasure that the teacher should know how to carry within the classroom.
4 NOT TURN IN HOMEWORK: It is an act of irresponsibility and lack of commitment on the part of students, teachers are always interested in what the students to be responsible people who strive to learn and give their best.
5. ABSENCE TO CLASES: The unjustified absence to classes generates in the teachers preoccupation, since it indicates a problem the which  must give solution in a timely manner, since the non-attendance produces an interruption of the eductive process, bringing with it immeasurable problems at the academic, family and social level.
